Dominic Letellier is caught between light and darkness...

Book 1 Covenant
Abused most of his life by his mother and her friends, Dominic would do almost anything to get payback. His chance comes when a force of darkness offers him a deal: work for it and it will dispose of those who have hurt him. At first, Dominic is reluctant but willing to bring people to the dark presence so it can destroy them to strengthen itself. Then the dark presence gives him a new task. Dominic must destroy a force of light in human form, a girl who happens to be the only good thing in his life.

Book 2 Exile
Laura Walker is a normal fourteen-year-old girl with a normal life in Boston. Well, except for the nightmares about her best friend, Sarita Gomes, being attacked by a dark thing. Laura's pretty used to her psychic abilities, but these dreams are really freaking her out, especially when Sarita's new boyfriend appears as the one who helps the dark thing. And who's the dark-haired boy who tries to help Sarita? When Laura and Sarita meet Dominic Letellier in Quincy Market one day, that question is answered. But more questions arise when they learn that Sarita is a force of light in human form, destined to destroy the force of darkness that's controlling Faneuil Hall.

Book 3 Pursuit
Phil Thomason, a/k/a Zeke, is after his former best friend, Dominic. Dominic serves the darkness; Phil serves the light. And this is personal; Phil was the Guardian of Grace James, the force of light in human form whom Dominic destroyed. Grace is still alive, no longer a force of light, and no longer the girl Phil's been friends with since childhood. The force of light is still around as well, and won't leave Phil alone. When Phil starts his summer job at a day camp and meets his junior counselor, Laura Walker, he gains an ally. And when the force of darkness takes Phil's girlfriend Stacy, Phil finds that he needs Laura more than he thinks he should.

Book 4 Betrayal
Since he helped Zeke fight the force of darkness instead of helping the darkness's other servants stop him, Dominic's been in hiding at a campground well away from the city. He should have known it couldn't last. The force of darkness is active again and this time it's using Dominic and Grace's eight-month-old son, Topher, to blackmail Dominic into doing as he's told.  When Topher is kidnapped by his uncle and brought to a portal, Dominic has to fight against the force of darkness to save his son.

Book 5 Reunion
Laura's parents have planned a relaxing month at a lakefront cottage not far from Laura's grandparents. Laura's pleased; this means she'll also be near Phil and Dominic. But then the nightmares begin. The force of darkness has a portal at the lake and it wants Laura's little brother, Adam. Adam's having the same dream, but in his, it wants Laura. And the force of darkness has help from Laura's old boyfriend Van. Laura's reunion with Phil and Dominic is spoiled by having to ask their help to protect her brother.

Book 6 Regression
When a ten-year-old boy from the after-school care program where Phil works disappears, Phil immediately suspects Dominic. Sure, Dom has been helping the forces of light, but lately he's changed for the worse and Phil's certain he's serving the force of darkness again. Dominic's not the one who took the boy to the portal, though. That was the boy's best friend, Dylan Turcotte, operating under Dominic's mind control. When the dark force lures Dylan to one of its portal, Phil and Laura try to save him. But Laura is taken instead...

Book 7 Uncertainty
Serving the force of darkness stinks. That's a mild word for how Dominic feels about it. But what else can he do? The forces of light would never help him after all he's done against them and if Dominic tries to get away from the force of darkness, it would take him. He's stuck. But things are falling apart. Dominic knows he drinks too much; it helps him forget the things he's done. Morgan, who's been living with Dominic since he forgave her for her role in Topher's kidnapping, leaves him because she can't handle what he's doing. And then the force of darkness gives Dominic a new order: destroy Adam Walker. If Dominic doesn't destroy himself first.

Book 8 Retribution
Laura's missed Dominic since he left for Nova Scotia the summer before, but she knows he's happy there, finally away from the force of darkness. The last thing she and Phil want to do is ruin that for him. But there's a new force of darkness in Boston, much stronger than the one Sarita destroyed, and it's targeting Laura and Adam. When it gains control of their parents, they, along with Phil, flee to Nova Scotia for their own safety and to persuade Dominic to help them. While there, Adam learns the truth about himself and why the forces of darkness have been after him: he's a force of light in human form and although he's only ten, his time has come to destroy the new force of darkness.

Book 9 Intercession
Phil is glad that Laura's family has moved closer to him. The Walkers have had a rough six months; Adam's been gone since he destroyed the force of darkness and Mrs. Walker, especially, hasn't coped with the loss. She blames Laura for it, which has made things horrible for Laura. Maybe the move will allow the Walkers to start over. At least it will give Phil and Laura a chance to be together and to help Dominic by getting the forces of light to assist them in breaking the hold the force of darkness has on Dom. But things get worse for Laura and when tragedy strikes, she can't deal with anything related to light and darkness anymore. Including Phil.

Book 10 Redemption
Since the previous summer, thanks to Zeke and Laura, the force of darkness has left Dominic alone. It isn't over yet, though. The force of darkness is targeting him again but this time, Dom isn't giving in. He wants revenge for what the force of darkness did to him and to Laura and he needs help from the forces of light to get it. But will they help him after everything he did as a servant of the darkness?
